In 2018 for the second year running, the South African Mint released a very Limited Issue Krugerrand Silver Proof Coin struck in solid fine .999 Silver weighing one ounce of pure Silver.

The reverse of the coin designed by Coert Steynberg depicts a Springbok Antelope one of the national symbols of South Africa and the obverse has the portrait of Paul Kruger.

These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.

Limited mintage of 15.000 pieces worldwide.
