Created by Lee Falk, the legend around the Phantom dates back to 1536, when a lineage of crimefighters born in the jungles of Bangalla. Because they all share the same costume and name, some have mistakenly believed the modern Phantom to be the only version of this character. But in reality, the current version of The Phantom is considered the 21st member of this superhero family.
