The Sedov - Nautical Ounce 3 Oz Antique High Relif - 2021
The Sedov was a product of the F. A. Vinnen & Co shipping company and first launched in 1921 in Kiel, Germany. There was initially some controversy around the ship because it was the first sailing vessel to include an auxiliary engine. However, any concerns were quickly dispelled after she proved to be an invaluable cargo ship. She carried goods such as coal, timber, and wheat all around the world with speed and consistency. For nearly 80 years, the Sedov was the largest traditional sailing ship in the world.
